Special Notes: .The Freeport Art Museum will provide the sculpture’s foundation (concrete) and exterior lighting. Additional funding and/or in-kind services may be available for installation, depending on the project. Lighting that is integral to the artwork will need to be negotiated on an individual basis.

Summary: In the spring of 2021 Art Park 21 will host its second biennial juried exhibition of outdoor eco-centric art. This multi-site exhibition, “Urban Ecologies”, will take place Santa Fe. 2020 Stevens Point Sculpture Park Juried Call

Summary: The Stevens Point Sculpture Park, located in central Wisconsin, is accepting submissions of sculpture work for their annual, three-year outdoor sculpture exhibition. A local jury will choose pieces for display from August 2020 through August 2023.

Prospectus #254 US Native and Indigenous Artists Purchase Initiative
Santa Fe, NM
Summary: The goal of the Native American, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native Artists Only Purchase Initiative is to diversify the state’s public art collection by purchasing artwork from Native or Indigenous artists in all stages of their careers. All visual arts media in all genres, suitable for interior or exterior display, will be considered for purchase. Artwork must be durable, permanent, low-maintenance and in compliance with ADA guidelines upon installation.
Budget: Project amounts are $1,000 – $50,000 all-inclusive. Purchase contracts will be limited to a $1,000 minimum per piece.

In addition to providing a dynamic visual welcome to the building, the artwork will activate and enliven the exterior of the building. Indianapolis, IN
Summary: Sun Development and Management Company (“Sun”), the developer of the new Hilton Dual Brand Hotel at 414 W. Vermont St. in Indianapolis, Indiana, in collaboration with the Arts Council of Indianapolis, is looking for proposals from artists wishing to execute a public artwork for the exterior of the hotel. This project is part of the City of Indianapolis’ Public Art for Neighborhoods program.

Special Notes: The goal is to honor the history of women as part of the church. The developer has requested conceptual designs that incorporate images of women in traditional African American “Sunday best” church attire, dating back to the church’s founding in the early 19th century. The developer envisions the artwork to be a flat application of metal, either bronze, aluminum, brass, or steel, cut out in a design or a series of designs (using either positive or negative space, or a combination) and attached to the hotel structure using 6-inch standoffs.
