Grant #2 Summary: Arts In Society Grant: Funding to support individuals and organizations who seek to implement projects that utilize the arts as an integral element in promoting social justice and community welfare, including, but not limited, to projects responding to COVID-19 related needs. Grants will range in size from $5,000-$35,000.

Grant #3 Summary: COVID-19 CO Creatives Relief Grant: The grant is a one-time payment for general operating support to nonprofit arts organizations in Colorado with an annual operating budget of less than $1 million. Priority will be given to small and mid-size organizations, particularly those working in under-served communities. Awards range from $4000-$8000.

Grant #4 Summary: Our Town Grants: Our Town is a creative place-making program that supports projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes. Cost share/matching grants range from $25,000 to $150,000, with a minimum cost share/match equal to the grant amount.

Art in the Park Sculpture Walk

Rock Falls, IL

Summary: Sculpture submissions are now open for the 2020 Art in the Park Sculpture Walk. Please submit the attached form along with images of the sculpture you wish to enter for jury selection. This event will take place the first weekend in September and artwork will be installed the day prior to the event. Artists are asked to be present for the event. Artists will be expected to provide all installation materials, however we will have heavy lifters on hand to assist with sculpture placement. Sculptures will be outside and must be able to withstand all forms of Midwest weather.

Budget: Each selected artist will receive $1000 for allowing their sculpture to remain in the RB&W Park for 1 year. Artists will also receive a 1 night stay in the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, the evening prior to the event.

Public Art, Univ. of Nebraska Medical Center, Northwall Plaza

Omaha, NE

Summary: The UNMC Wittson/Wigton Heritage Center Committee seeks a large 3D sculpture for the central circle of the Northwall Garden Plaza. The UNMC Wittson/Wigton Heritage Center Committee in consultation with the Nebraska Arts Council, has full oversight for the selection of an artist for this project. The committee reviews RFQ submissions on SlideRoom. Two to four finalists will present proposals in Omaha, NE, and will receive travel and proposal stipends.

Budget: $163,750 (A maximum $163,750 is available for the selected artist or artists team (inclusive of travel and lodging, equipment rental, supplies and fabrication for the final design and commission).
