Read how you can create a sculpture in Colorado that will bring joy to children
The town of Greeley, Colorado has announced they are looking for sculptors to submit qualifications for a sculpture to be placed in a new playground that will have a western theme.
This playground, named Aven’s Village, is to be just the third universally accessible playgrounds in Northern Colorado. Aven Mondy is a local girl with Cerebral Palsy, and the park is named for her.
Budget for the sculpture is $30,000 which includes all fabrication and installation costs.
Applications are due by midnight October 9th, 2015. Artists must be available for an interview on Nov 4.
