Summary: The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo and ProMedica Health Systems has convened a Design Review Board to commission a large, hanging, glass installation to be installed in a 4-story atrium in the new headquarters for ProMedica. The work will be a central feature of the building, and a part of the additions and renovations to the new campus.

Chicago, Illinois Opportunities

Summary: This is a submission of qualifications for seven potential spaces for public artwork, The artwork will be displayed at the Joint-Use Consolidated Rental Car/Parking Facility and ATS Station at O’Hare Airport in Chicago, IL.

Project 3: Technology (2 locations)
An interior, visible opportunity for the transition of spaces shown through a substantial digital and / or light-based installation.n

  • LED-based artwork, or other light-based installation
  • Digital or technological installation
  • Grand in size, scale, vision, or impact
  • Makes the transition space evident, creates presence, announces building activity

San Francisco, California Opportunity

Summary: The San Francisco Arts Commission has an open call for the Moscone Convention Center Expansion: located in the city’s arts and culture district. Several sculptures may be sited along the length of the Park Bridge spanning Howard Street and connecting Yerba Buena Gardens’ Esplanade to its Children’s Garden.

Several sculptures may be sited along the length of the Park Bridge spanning Howard Street and connecting Yerba Buena Gardens’ Esplanade to its Children’s Garden. The sculpture(s) can be a singular or serial experience and may consist of distinct artworks acquired from different artists or a series of related work by a single artist. The project team will work with the artist(s) to finalize the bridge’s landscape and hardscape elements once the sculptures are selected.

Summary: The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville seeks proposals from artists or artist teams for a permanent work of art to be located on the west wall of the underground section of The Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville.
