Greenville Transportation Activity Center “Great Bike Rack”
Greenville, North Carolina
Summary: The City of Greenville, NC, is seeking proposals from qualified artists interested in designing and fabricating a stainless steel bike rack for the Greenville Transportation Activity Center that spells out “GREAT”. Services will include designing the bike rack, fabricating the bike rack, and installing the bike rack on site.
The intent of this RFQ is to select a qualified artist to design, fabricate, and install an agreed upon stainless steel bike rack for the Greenville Transportation Activity Center project.
Budget: $4,500

Something New
Bainbridge Island, Washington
Summary: “Something New” is a new program sponsored by Arts and Humanities Bainbridge (AHB), the Public Art Committee (PAC), and City of Bainbridge Island (COBI).
The project will provide both a dynamic public art experience and an ongoing opportunity for sculptors to exhibit their work. The inaugural exhibit, to be installed in June of 2018, will place sculptures in three outdoor locations in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island.
Budget: Honoraria: $1,000 to each of 3 selected Artists with the opportunity to be recognized for a $1,000 People’s Choice Award.

Eligibility Requirements: Open to all local and Washington State Artists
Special Notes: The platforms at each site will be permanent. However, the artwork on display won’t be. Instead, a new collection of sculptures will be selected and rotated in annually, offering Bainbridge Island “something new” year after year. AHB and PAC expect to expand the program annually.

Center Courtyard 2018
Jackson, Wyoming
Summary: Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY is seeking proposals from individual artists or small artist teams for The Center Courtyard exhibition space. The Courtyard is a 30 ft by 28 ft outdoor space within this arts facility with glass walls on three sides. There are multiple views of this unique space through the conference room, the Theater Gallery hallway, the Glenwood street entrance and an aerial view from the green space above The Center’s ground level. The Courtyard acts as the heart of this building that houses 18 arts nonprofit administrative offices, 5 dance studios, art studios, galleries, a blackbox theater and a state of the art 500-seat theater. This is a high visibility, high traffic exhibition space, with more than 100,000 audience members attending events in and around the campus every year.
Budget: Proposals should be accompanied by an estimated budget ranging from $1000 to $15,000
