Permanent Public Artwork in Neuchâtel Cuadrante Polanco
Mexico City, Mexico
Summary: MIRA and MASSIVart invite national and international artists to develop a proposal for a permanent public artwork to be located in the public plaza of MIRA’s latest real estate development in Mexico City: Neuchâtel’s Cuadrante Polanco.
The artist selected will be aligned with the artistic direction of MIRA and MASSIVart as well as the vision of Neuchâtel Cuadrante Polanco, which is led by a desire to create a timeless art installation that has the power to engage the community.
Budget: $270,000 (6,000,000.00 MXN Pesos)

Eligibility Requirements: This call is open to professional national and international artists 18 and over
Special Notes: This artwork must coexist harmoniously with urban structures that include offices, apartments, and retail at the street level with open spaces.

Port Everglades – 19th Avenue & Eller Drive
Fort Lauderdale, Fl
Summary: In partnership with Port Everglades, Broward Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team to design, fabricate and install exterior artwork at Port Everglades, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The prominent location presents an opportunity for highly visible and vibrant artwork that contributes to Port Everglades’ unique identity.
Budget: $90,000

Eligibility Requirements: This Call to Artists is open to professional artists eighteen years of age or older, residing in the United States and who have not been previously selected for a Broward County public art commission in the past 10 years
Special Notes: The selected artist will be required to visit the site, attend a kick-off meeting, and coordinate the artwork installation with Port Everglades.

Public Art for Bob Shelden Baseball Field Renovation
Brookings, SD
Summary: The Brookings Public Arts Commission, in partnership with the City of Brookings, SD, seeks an artist to develop, fabricate and install permanent outdoor artwork within the Bob Sheldon Baseball Field and surrounding complex scheduled for a $3 Million renovation in 2020.
The public art project is planned for an area where visitors will congregate. The artwork should be highly visible within the surrounding park environment and serve as a marker or “gateway” while encouraging visitor interaction. The artwork should also visually complement the overall ambiance of an old baseball park as reflected in nearby structures, foliage and landscape features.
Budget: $190,000

Greensburg Art Center Sculpture Garden
Greensburg, PA
Summary: Greensburg Art Center is inviting artists to submit proposals for a work to be added to the center’s outdoor sculpture garden.
Budget: Minimum compensation would be $1,000.
