Request for Qualifications: Mural Design, Fabrication, and Installation

Lodi, Wisconsin

Summary: The City of Lodi is pleased to invite experienced artists to submit qualifications for the design, execution, and installation of a mural on an exterior wall of a privately owned building in downtown Lodi, WI.

This project is part of the Main Street Corridor Plan, a master plan for downtown Lodi with streetscape improvements. The mural will reflect Lodi themes, including natural beauty, natural landscape, and historic relevance. The mission of the mural project is to display a snapshot of the community that engages residents and travelers to enhance their appreciation of the qualities that make the Lodi Valley unique.

Budget: $15,000

Eligibility Requirements: Eligibility is open to artists who can meet or exceed the application requirements as stated on the formal Request for Qualifications document included in the Resources section.

Special Notes: From the application process, up to four finalists will be selected and receive a $500.00 stipend to complete their mural design. Once the project is awarded, the deadline for mural completion is September 15, 2019 with a budget of up to $15,000.00.

Interactive Art Call for Artists

Ketchum, Idaho

Summary: The City of Ketchum, Idaho invites experienced artists to apply for a new, long-term sculptural installation for a site on the City’s Fourth Street Heritage Corridor. Original artwork by one selected artist (or artist team) will be displayed on an outdoor pedestal beginning in late August 2019.

Budget: $25,000 Total budget for the sculpture, including artist fee, design, materials, fabrication, shipping and installation is $25,000. The sculpture will be featured on the city’s website (www.ketchumidaho.org) and in various social media forums.

Eligibility Requirements: This call is open to artists from the Western United States. Artists are encouraged to notify with intent to participate as soon as possible via email to Lisa Enourato at lenourato@ketchumidaho.org.

Special Notes: Three finalists will be selected to submit proposals. Each finalist will receive $500 upon submission of proposal.
