Kinetic Sculpture is On a Roll

Art Inspired by Creepy Crawling Things

Sculptor Reuben Margolin creates large kinetic sculptures. He was first inspired by caterpillars and wondered how they are actually able to crawl.

This art keeps rolling along. Emulating their movements, and the movements of other critters in nature, via pulleys and motors.
