Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed at least two permanent or temporary site-specific commissions. Professional artists living and working in the United States are eligible to apply. Non-US residents must be able to show current ability to work in the United States prior to being contracted for a project in Oregon.

Special Notes: Selection panels have the option of using the roster either in combination with an open call or invitational or as the sole resource for identifying appropriate artists for a project. The Roster is completely refreshed every three years. If you were selected for a previous Oregon Art in Public Places Roster you must reapply to be considered for the 2020-2022 Roster.

Bleachery Heritage Project Sculpture

Rock Hill, SC

Summary: The City of Rock Hill, in partnership with Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation, has been awarded an Our Town grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for Rock Hill Designs and the Bleachery Heritage Project. We are seeking an artist (or team of artists) to design an outdoor sculpture that will be a primary focal point at University Center.

Budget: $30,000

Eligibility Requirements: Due to the extensive community engagement aspects of this project, the committee encourages proposals from artists within reasonable travel distance of Rock Hill (such as driving distance).  Please note that the $30,000 fee includes all travel and reimbursable expenses, and that additional funds to cover these costs will not be available.

Special Notes: Strong preference will be given to artists who demonstrate experience and success engaging local residents and students in the creation of locally imagined themes and space

Indigo Apartments – Public Art Commission

West Palm Beach, Florida

Summary: Atlantic Residential DBA Centrepark Venture Partners LLC is soliciting proposals for public art installation(s) located in the front of the building at the three locations clouded in red on the site plans that are attached to this RFP. We are looking for a visual representation for what you are proposing at the location(s). The primary location we would like to ensure some focus is put toward is the front entrance of the building. Eligibility Requirements: Artists must be located within the South Florida area (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties). Artists must be a professional in the visual arts, generally recognized by critics and peers as a professional of serious intent and ability. Artist’s income must be realized through the sole commission of artwork, frequent or consistent art exhibitions, placement of artwork in public institutions, and training in the arts.

Special Notes: This project is a 246 unit 7 story apartment building currently under construction within the Centrepark Office Park. The project site itself is located at 1500 Centrepark Boulevard, West Palm Beach Florida. The community will be located on the west side of I-95, with close proximity to downtown WPB and adjacent to the Warehouse District. We are anticipating the demographic of the building to consist of mostly young professionals working up and down the I-95 corridor.

Little Saigon Park Art Project

Summary: The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), is seeking an artist or artist/artist team* to design, fabricate and install site-integrated outdoor artwork for the park in the Little Saigon neighborhood.

Eligibility Requirements: This call is open to all artists living or working in Washington State who have a connection/relationship to the Chinatown| International District community in Seattle.

Special Notes: The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture encourages diversity in its collection. Artists whose work is well represented in the City’s collection are eligible to apply, but the artist selection panel will consider artistic diversity as one factor in the selection process. Students are not eligible to apply.

Summary: This call is for interested artists or artist teams to create site specific artwork or propose appropriate existing artwork for the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control facility in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Special Notes: It is the intention of the Art Selection Committee to commission new artwork or purchase existing art. This public artwork may draw inspiration from or derive context from the community of Saratoga Springs and / or the surrounding community, the services offered by DABC, the architecture, or the magnificent Utah landscape.
