Ohio Man’s Snow Sculpture Honors Fallen Soldiers

| Taking His Annual Snow Sculpture To New Level
Roger Pugh creates a snow sculpture every year.
His latest work resulted into a tribute to America’s fallen soldiers.
Not a professional sculptor, Pugh works on his pieces at night after work.
“It’s a tribute to our fallen soldiers, the ones that covered my back and taking care of my butt for a lot of years,” Pugh said. “If it can put a smile on somebody’s face, or make them think about our soldiers, hey, mission accomplished.”
In addition to the eagle carved from snow, this work features a grave with (wooden) gun and helmet.
Did we mention, the eagle has an American flag draped over its shoulders. Nice touch.
Hats off to The Political Insider for the heads up on this one.
