Summary: Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY is seeking proposals from individual artists or small artist teams for The Center’s Public Spaces program. There are several optimal locations on the campus that lend themselves toward hosting installations and sculpture.
This is a high visibility, high traffic opportunity, with more than 100,000 audience members attending events in and around The Center campus every year. The Center is looking for interesting work that uses the unique space in refreshing ways and offers innovative interpretations of what it means to be an artist in the intermountain west.
For 2016, The Center is seeking public art installations for The Center’s Courtyard, The Center’s Sculpture Pad and The Center Park. After evaluating submissions
Budget: None specified. Stipends to cover major installation costs are available. This is an art on loan program, but you may offer your sculpture for sale with a 30% commission taken on sales.
